Start small, Try something new
Sometimes, we are always wondering how to increase our value and we just overthinking and doing nothing. We can just do it by starting small. Like planting a tree, we just spread the seeds.
I got this new point of view of experimenting, and try several new things for learn in Tiny Design Club event. Briandito Priambodo as a speaker shares his journey to make some investment. Here are what I learn :
1. Start Small: The Catalyst for Transformation
The fear of the unknown often paralyzes us from taking that first step towards experimentation and learning. The lesson of this phase is the simplicity of starting small. Whether it’s acquiring a new skill, exploring uncharted territories, or delving into an unfamiliar field, the key is to focus on the journey of self-discovery. By acknowledging that the process is a learning experience in itself, we liberate ourselves from the burden of perfection.
2. Share your work : Building confidence
Transparency is the cornerstone of growth. We need to share our experiences, be they successes or failures. The act of putting ourselves out there, vulnerable and honest, serves a dual purpose. It not only builds our own confidence as we confront our fears but also creates a platform for constructive feedback and communal learning. The internet becomes our canvas, where every post, blog, or video contributes to our narrative of growth.
3. Continuous Grow: Evolve along the way
When we start, sharing our work, it makes us grow day by day. At least, we learn to be good storytellers when we try to share it online in different media such as Blog posts, videos, Instagram Carousel, etc.
4. Embracing Failure: The Stepping Stones to Success
Failure, rather than an endpoint, is a crucial milestone on the path to success. But encourages the pursuit of numerous experiments, knowing that not all will yield favorable results. Whether the outcome is success or failure, each endeavor contributes to a wealth of knowledge and experience. By embracing failure, we refine our strategies and iterate towards a better version of ourselves.
5. Conclusions
In conclusion, this sharing session provides a compelling blueprint for personal and professional growth. The journey is not about perfection but about the courage to take those small steps, share our evolving stories, embrace continuous growth, and view failures as stepping stones to success. As we internalize these principles, we pave the way for a fulfilling and enriched life journey.
So, let’s take the plunge, start small, share our stories, embrace growth, and fearlessly confront failure — for in these endeavors, we unlock the true potential within ourselves. Thank you for reading, and may your journey be as transformative as the lessons shared by Briandito Priambodo.
